Polishing is a process in which we create a smooth and shiny surface using friction or chemical treatment. We can polish manually using cloths and sponges or mechanically with polishing discs in angle grinders or polishers. The best result is achieved when used simultaneously with polishing pastes.

Fan grinders are very good for grinding and polishing surfaces in hard-to-reach areas such as the inside of pipes and irregular surfaces. Available with a corundum shank - for metals, non-ferrous metals, wood, plastic, with a zirconium shank - for metals and stainless steel and with a felt shank for mirror polishing with the help of abrasive paste.

To achieve a mirror shine, it is recommended to use abrasive paste and polish in an angle grinder at low speeds. We wrote more about pastes in the article Abrasive pastes.
