Tungsten carbide forstner drill for drilling wood

Forstner bits (as per DIN 7483-G) are made of high carbon steel, they have inserted cutting carbide plates and precision ground surface. A precise drill bit with two blades and a side cutting edge with a short centering tip. For  drilling  dimensionally  accurate, tear-free flat bottomed holes in solid wood, veneered wooden boards, chipboard, plywood and other forms of compressed wood. Ideal for carpenters and joiners, especially in window, door and kitchen installation. Used for morticing hinges. Suitable for all kinds of drilling machines with a 10 mm chuck. No other type of a drill bit can equal its quality of cuts around the edge and side of the hole.
