Fiskars is the oldest company in Finland - in 2024 it celebrated its 375th anniversary. Our history begins in the seventeenth century, when a number of ironworks were established in Finland. Fiskars was founded in 1649 and today is one of the oldest companies in the Western world. It is engaged in the production of garden hand tools and household tools. All tools are made of high-quality steel, which is highly durable and has a long service life. Fiskars has received numerous awards for the design of its tools, including the Red Dot, Good Design, Ease-of-Use, Commendation and Green Design awards from Popular Mechanics magazine.
