What is the difference between working height and ladder length?
Quite essential, because the length of the ladder means the maximum dimension, while the working one is marked as the limit of climbing the ladder (according to the law, standing on the last 2 rungs of the ladder is not allowed!). Therefore, if you use a standing ladder, you will reach about a meter higher than its length (standing on the 3rd rung). For a single ladder it is at least 0.8m and for a double ladder 0.5m from the end of the ladder.

DIN EN 131 is an international standard for ladders, ensuring safe use. For example, it sets the criterion that the load of the ladder must be at least 150kg.
It also determines the methods of attaching the ladder to various structures.
Furthermore, the use of dangerous tools, chain saws, hand pneumatic tools... is prohibited on the ladder.
