The principle is practically identical, only they are not used for cutting, but for grinding the material being processed.
Diamond tools for hand grinding and grinders are available on the market, but most often we can find diamond grinding wheels for
hand grinders.
These grinding wheels are used for various types of materials from metals, alloys to building materials. The rule still applies that we choose a wheel with a larger / coarser grain size if we need more material removal.
The largest part of the wheel is its metal supporting part, along the circumference of which so-called
diamond segments are "welded on". These are welded either by laser or by sintering.
Synthetic diamond grains are distributed in the binder, the so-called matrix. Their shape, size and density then determine the service life and quality of the disc.
During repeated grinding, natural wear and tear occurs. But even so, their service life is very long.
For example,
NÁSTROJE CZ diamond discs are developed based on experience for high demands for both craftsmen and industry. During production, attention is paid to
high safety and quality of the discs.
