Drills GOLD STEP

The Gold Step drills are dimensionally compliant with the DIN 338 standard in HSS design, but their essential benefit is the completely new tip geometry in the form of a stepped drill and an open helix for good chip and splinter removal.

The Gold Step drills are very suitable for hand drilling, where the shank is equipped with three flats preventing rotation in the drill chuck.
Thanks to the tip and subsequent steps, there is no need to pre-drill holes in common materials using the centering drill principle.
The resulting holes are characterized by much better machining and roundness, which eliminates the usual shortcomings of hand drilling.
Thanks to the special geometry, there is also no chipping of material on the back side of the hole.

Universal drill with unique step drill tip technology for hand drilling of high-precision round holes in almost all materials, such as stainless steel (e.g. V2A, V4A), heat-resistant steel and titanium. Also suitable for general use on ordinary steel and also on cast iron, non-ferrous metals and hard and soft wood. Suitable for drilling acrylic glass. Extremely powerful ground drill bit with high heat resistance. Also suitable for thin-walled materials. The TiN-coated design increases the drill bit's wear resistance.
