A lubricator is a container designed for lubricating oil or grease. Ideal for lubricating moving parts of machines, such as bearings, pins, joints and other mechanical components.
Its main task is to ensure lubrication of the machine of which it is a part. Lubricators are devices or machine components that serve for the precise and targeted supply of lubricants (oil or grease) to places where friction occurs between machine parts - for example, in bearings, joints or guides.
Correct removal is key to reducing wear and friction and extending the service life of machines.
The most commonly used lubricator is the so-called "Stauffer oiler".
On the front there is a vent valve, which, when pressed and pumped with a lever, removes excess air and thus pumps / sucks the lubricant from the cartridge into the pressurized "armored" rubberized hose and is then distributed to specific lubrication points.
Under this term, everyone imagines the well-known classic overalls, popularly called „blues - blue overalls", according to the specific color, which have accompanied us for a long time... But overalls are not the only work clothes.
