We have added a new type to our SDS-plus drill range – SDS-plus four-edged monolith drill bits. Let’s take a look at the main advantages of these drill bits compared to classic SDS-plus drill bits.
Like classic SDS-plus drill bits, these drill bits are designed for building materials – concrete, reinforced concrete, natural stone and masonry. But what makes them so special compared to regular SDS-plus drill bits? It’s mainly about better performance, higher durability, speed and longer service life. These drill bits can easily handle even the hardest concrete, including drilling into reinforced concrete.
MAIN ADVANTAGES:
1. Special construction - all-carbide four-edged tip and special helix design
Unlike conventional SDS-plus drills, which only have carbide edges, these drills have an entire four-edged carbide head, thanks to which they can drill even into the hardest materials. This design advantage ensures higher durability, impact strength and stability during work. Thanks to the special helix design, the drill removes the removed material faster and ensures smooth operation even when drilling in demanding conditions and into hard materials. Overall better reinforcement of the drills guarantees longer service life and less wear.
2. Great performance in reinforced concrete
Thanks to the already mentioned four-edged carbide head, these drills perfectly handle high impacts without any damage. The reinforced center of the drill reduces the risk of breakage when in contact with reinforcement (reinforcement), which also increases drilling safety and accuracy.
3. Comfortable use
The special design of the ground and profiled helix allows for vibration-free drilling, providing users with greater reliability, longer service life and less downtime during work.
We offer drills in various lengths from 4 mm to 14 mm in diameter and are also available in 4, 5, 6, 7-piece sets.
The new series is intended for the following industries: construction, electrical engineering, plumbing, for preparing concrete formwork, for mechanical repairs and reconstructions, for glaziers and craftsmen who drill mounting holes in hard concrete, reinforced concrete, hard stones, building blocks and solid surfaces.
They achieve perfect performance using small electropneumatic hammers in the weight category of 2 - 4 kg.
Note: When drilling to a depth greater than 400 mm, we recommend first pre-drilling with a shorter drill bit of the same diameter.
